KCL不接受 ”二次考虑”,留学申请需提早规划

每次在申请前期，老师们都会提醒学生和家长，一定要充分准备，前期预留足够的时间把申请材料准备齐全，完善。然而有部分同学抱有侥幸心理，万一被拒后期再跟学校申诉去争取。近日，英国KCL针对申诉政策做出了严肃的回应

“申诉（要求重新考虑申请）” 的请求只能在申请者非常确定Admissions在审理过程中出现错误的情况下才能使用。目前我们接收到了非常多不满足要求的”申诉”，再次提醒各位顾问老师也希望您务必跟学生强调KCL不接受 ”二次考虑”，请不要在系统中发送要求重新考虑的信息。

Examples of inappropriate use of the appeals process: 近期接收到的不符合要求的 ”申诉” 例如：

Applicant has not met the published entry criteria, and writes a long list of other lifetime achievements in hope that these will make up for the fact they do not meet the criteria.

申请者未达到学校要求的申请要求，继而通过展现自己从小到大在其他方面的成就希望可以弥补均分不足。

Applicant has not met the published entry criteria but writes a letter detailing how much they want to study at King’s, and that they will work harder if only they are given a chance.

申请者未达到学校要求的申请要求，继而强调King’s是自己的梦想学校，希望给予机会，今后会非常努力学习。

Applicant has met the published minimum entry criteria on a highly competitive programme (e.g. KBS) and writes an appeal letter pointing this out, after having been unsuccessful due to intense competition.

申请者已达到竞争激烈课程的申请要求(例如商学院/法学院)但由于竞争激烈而收到拒信，而希望再次被考虑。

Applicant was unsuccessful due to GPA at the time of application not meeting requirements, but appeals on the basis of their average GPA having risen to the required standard since (they cannot be reconsidered in the same academic year for a programme to which they’ve already had an unsuccessful application).

申请者在申请时均分未达到要求，但是之后达到均分要求希望再次被考虑（同一学年同一专业被拒后无法再次被考虑）

Example of an appropriate use of the appeals process: 符合申诉要求的例如

Applicant is rejected on the basis of not having an undergraduate degree, when in fact they provided a transcript with their original application attesting to contrary and this was completely missed by the Admissions Officer for some reason.

申请者由于“未获得本科学位”被拒，但实际上提供了本科成绩单但录取办未看到（审理流程中的失误）。
